Midwest Family Care is recruiting for an accountant to help develop and to manage the financial health of our organization. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy, and collaborative environment.
We are a rapidly growing organization with a 22-year history in Dane County. With more than $2.8 million in annual revenue, we continue to redefine the home care and long- term care industry in Dane County and in Jefferson County.
As an Accountant/Bookkeeper, you will assist in day-to-day operations. You could potentially support the organization in several of the following ways:
Reconcile finance accounts and credit cards
Maintain spreadsheets for data analysis
Perform A/R collection and tracking
Prepare statutory accounts
Process Payroll and submission to payroll company
Process & Prepare monthly invoices to clients
Manage daily post in and out
Prepare A/P for authorizations
Closing of books
Experience preferred
Experience with QuickBooks
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and Google Docs
Proficiency with Windows operation system
Advanced and oral communication skills
